Business Manager Opportunity – Automotive Dealership Santa Barbara, California

Automotive Business Manager to oversee the daily activity in Beautiful Santa Barbara.  Willing to train an experienced Dealership Office Manager that would like to improve their career.

Job Responsibilities

  • Regularly and accurately reports the financial condition of the total dealership to the Executives
  • Summarizes sales and expense analysis to detect potential areas and opportunities for improved company profitability
  • Provides management with timely reviews of dealership financial status and progress
  • Interprets the financial statement and daily operating reports and informs management of developing trends
  • Perform HR/Payroll duties
  • Pay off flooring daily
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivables
  • Oversees dealership accounting staff
  • Reinforces company policies and adheres to all company standards
  • Maintains and inspects for compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensures proper internal controls are in place
  • Reviews the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable
  • Other miscellaneous administrative and accounting duties as needed (whatever it takes attitude) must jump in and help wherever needed.

Requirements: Requires Accounting, Billing Clerk, Office Manager, and or Business Manager experience*

  • CDK experience a must.
  • Experience in an Automotive Dealership office is a MUST
  • Requires strong communication, customer service, leadership and organizational skills
  • Experience working with management team on financial analysis and expense control
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting is preferred but not required for the highly experienced candidate
  • A stable and verifiable work history is a must
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
